Mostly that’s because of the sports rivalry among the “big three” of North Carolina State University (NC State), Duke University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). In addition to those schools there are also a number of other, smaller colleges and universities in the Raleigh/Durham area, which don’t get as much attention.
I thought it would be interesting to look at the websites for the Raleigh-area colleges and universities and see how their website designs stacked up against each other. Below are some of the websites of colleges and universities in Raleigh. These made my list because of their unique website designs, their use of large photos on the websites, and their overall web design creativity.
I’m also including a bonus list of some of the best web design examples from other colleges and universities in the state of North Carolina. These websites are worth highlighting as well, for their great website designs and their overall web design creativity.
